Message from the Church of the Holy Trinity Women’s Group
dated November 18, 2020
By now, we would’ve had our community picnic and the back-to-school event. Due to the pandemic, we were unable to be of service to the community. This weighed heavy on the hearts of the Women’s Group. So, we asked ourselves, what could we do to help in spite of shutdowns and lockdowns. After much thought, we decided that we could donate hygiene necessities and socks to a homeless shelter. Not to violate Diocesan restrictions, we ordered pre-packed hygiene kits (48) and individually wrapped socks (120 pairs) and donated the items to The Baltimore Station, which is a shelter that provides services to veterans. Since Veteran’s Day is in the month of November, the Women’s Group felt we needed to do something to help those who have served this country and are now in need of assistance.
