Hilary Wiseman

Hilary Wiseman, MPH, LCSW-C came to social work by way of teaching and curriculum writing. She received her MSW from the University of Maryland School of Social Work, and her MPH from Johns Hopkins University with a focus on behavior health sciences. Hilary spent both her VA Social Work Internship and her first three years at the VA Maryland Health Care System working as a Primary Care Social Worker, serving several specialty Primary Care Teams as well as covering the Emergency Department for non-mental health related needs. Hilary moved to the Caregiver Support Program and began coordinating the Program of General Caregiver Support Services in January of 2020. In her role in the Caregiver Support Program Hilary routinely provides education and outreach to the community and VHA Staff. She develops and implements a variety of programming for Caregivers including one on one coaching. Hilary is a lifelong learner with a passion for education and information sharing with a dedication to highlighting the crucial role Caregivers play in caring for our nations’ Veterans.
