Under the leadership of Dr. Darrilynne Arnelle-Mazyck, this new community outreach ministry focuses on providing residents in Baltimore City and surrounding communities with information and services related to physical and mental well-being. Since its inception in 2024, this ministry has sponsored the following programs:
- The Cynthia Lynn Corbin Health Fair — May 2024*, August 2025 (combined with Unity in the Community)
- Blessings in a Backpack (Summer Weekend Meals) — June through August 2024
- Pampers Diaper Drive (supplied diapers for 10 families for 4 months) — July through October 2024
- Caregivers’ Workshop (for caregivers of dementia patients) — November 2024
- Mommy and Me Baby Yoga — held monthly January through May 2025
- Girls Empowerment Camp (one week day camp for girls ages 9-12) — June 2025, June 2026
- First Aid/CPR Certification (Free through the American Red Cross) — ongoing
- Hands Only CPR (Baltimore City Fire Department/Emergency Medical Services) — ongoing
- Narcan Training (Baltimore City Health Department) — ongoing
*The original Cynthia Lynn Corbin Health Fair was conceived by Rev. Benita Keene-Johnson, Priest-in-Charge, to honor the legacy of Cynthia Lynn Corbin, a Baltimore City Nurse Practitioner. The Outreach Ministries assisted in the planning and implementation of the fair.
